Competition Overview

Discover the history of the Australian mythological creature – The Bunyip.

The School Scarecrow Competition supported by Brunnings has been given a new theme! The 2022 School Scarecrow competition theme is The Bunyip.

This creature is part of Australian Aboriginal folklore, a legendary monster which can be heard from within the creeks, dams, and billabongs of Australia. Students will explore their own imagination along with conducting research to assist them in making their own real-life Bunyip!
