Competition Overview

Bee Amazed! Forming part of the Agricultural Hall, the Apiculture Competition attracts honey, pollen, comb honey, beeswax, mead and native entries from across the country.

The extracted honey liquid is judged across a range of criteria including aroma, colour, flavour, density, clearness and brightness and finish.

Adding to the competition, live bee demonstrations take place daily to reveal the wonderful intricacies of their unique environment.
