Tickets for Ekka 2025 will be available for purchase online only. Subscribe to the Ekka database to find out first and get the best deal!
You get admission for your chosen day and access to all the free activities Ekka has to offer! Get hands-on in our variety of fun animal activities, view all our magnificent competition displays, watch our action-packed live competitions, visit our entertainment stages for some of the nation's best performances and catch our ever-popular night show "EkkaNITES!"
This year, ticket purchasers are able to do a self Day Change. If you need to change your nominated day/s, you can click on the Day Change link provided in your ticket confirmation email.
Please note that a day change can only be done ONCE and no further edits can be made after 11.59am Friday, 9 August 2024.
Once the deadline has passed, the link will expire regardless if it has been used. Therefore, it will not work anymore.
To change a Super Saver day to a Regular Day, charges may apply.

Valid Ekka Ticket holders may be granted a pass that allows them to leave and to re-enter the Brisbane Showgrounds (a Pass Out), subject to the conditions in this section.
Pass Outs may be claimed free of charge by Ekka Ticket holders at the gates within the Brisbane Showgrounds between 9am - 8pm on any day the ticket-holder enters the Ekka with an Ekka Ticket.
Each Ekka Ticket holder is permitted to claim one (1) Pass Out per day only.
Pass Outs are only valid for use for re-entry to the Brisbane Showgrounds on the day the Pass Out is issued.
The Ekka Ticket holder can use their Pass Out on multiple occasions for re-entry during the day their Pass Out is issued.
The RNA reserves all rights to refuse entry to the Ekka to any person who does not hold a valid Pass Out.
Ekka Tickets must not be offered for resale including via online sale platforms such as eBay and Gumtree, except via RNA’s authorised agents.
During peak sale periods, tickets may take up to 24 hours to receive. Try searching your inbox and junk folder for an email from [email protected]. If you still can’t find it, send us an email at [email protected] with your full name and email address used during checkout.
At the gate we scan tickets presented on your phone or tickets that have been printed (not required). Please have your ticket ready when entering the event.

Yes! You're welcome to bring a picnic lunch with you to Ekka. Please remember to dispose of any rubbish in the bins provided.
No, but there are several licensed venues where you can drink.
There are designated smoking areas outside the Brisbane Showgrounds. Please be aware you are not allowed to take food or drink into smoking areas.
Don't panic - there is a dedicated Lost Persons station at the Gregory Terrace Police Station open between 9:00am and 8:30pm.
As part of the Keep Kids Safe program, parents are encouraged to collect a free wrist band from the police marquee on Gregory Terrace as soon as they arrive at Ekka. They can write their mobile number on their child's wristband, so if they become separated they can be reunited ASAP.

Tickets are only available for purchase online via the Ekka website.
No, however from Monday 5 August for six months, public transport fares will be reduced to a 50 cent flat rate across all zones and modes on the Translink network across Queensland.

There are various car parks within walking distance to the Brisbane Showgrounds, including:
Cornerstone Parking - Royal Brisbane Hospital
Secure Parking - Valley Metro Car Park
Secure Parking - McWhirters Car Park
Please be advised that parking slots are limited and may be fully booked out especially during the weekends and public holiday, so we do encourage catching public transport if you are able to.
