Media Accreditation

Media Accreditation

Media accreditation for the historic comeback Royal Queensland (Ekka) Show is now open.

As you are aware, the 2020 Ekka was cancelled for only the third time in history due to the unprecedented impacts of the global pandemic.

Planning for this year’s show started in December last year and we are working very closely with Queensland Health to deliver a wonderful COVID Safe event for the community to enjoy.

We are delighted to bring the country once again to the city in a celebration of agriculture, to recognise and reward the best of the best and bring Queenslanders the traditional and unique Ekka experiences they know and love.

Media representatives covering the Ekka can apply for media accreditation, including digital media such as video bloggers, social media influencers and food bloggers, as well as traditional media.

Accreditation gives you exclusive access to the Media Centre, where you'll find free Wi-Fi, food and refreshments, lockers and daily program updates.

In order for your media accreditation to be successfully submitted, full contact details must be provided for contact tracing purposes as part of our COVID Safe measures.
