The Royal Queensland Show (Ekka) is Queensland’s largest and most loved annual event, drawing an average 400,000 visitors each year.
The show remains a Queensland institution after first being held in 1876 and continues to celebrate and champion agriculture.
Since the gates first opened more than 140 years ago, more than 31 million people have visited the Ekka. Tradition remains at the heart of the show, with each new generation creating their own lifelong memories.
Media representatives covering the Ekka can apply for media accreditation, including digital media such as video bloggers, social media influencers and food bloggers, as well as traditional media.
Accreditation gives you exclusive access to the Media Centre, where you'll find free Wi-Fi, food and refreshments, lockers and daily program updates.
Media Accreditation for the 2020 Ekka will open in May.
