There are several categories, including Junior and Senior School, Adult Formal Wear and Adult Recycle and Re-create.
The competition aims to promote primary industries in Queensland and encourage schools to teach the art of dressmaking and fashion design.
The Wearable Art classes, Fantasy and Environment, focuses on creativity and visual impact of the design.
