The cream of Queensland’s dairy industry gathers annually at the Royal Queensland Show for one of the largest showings of dairy cattle in Australia.
The competition is one of Australia's richest competitions of its kind in Australia, offering $32,000 in prize money.
The best of the best in Australian dairy cattle will be showcased across six breeds - Ayrshire, Guernsey, Illawarra, Jersey, Holstein and Brown Swiss.
Around 250 head of cattle will compete on the quality of their milk, with a highlight of the competition the Supreme Champion Dairy Cow of Show.
At this year's Ekka, the Dairy Cattle will be Judged on the Main Arena on the Friday 16th of August 2024. If you would like to visit the Dairy Cattle, they will be housed on Level 1 of the Large Animal Pavilion from 12pm on Monday 12th of August
