IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR EXHIBITORS
- All Queenslanders have a ‘general biosecurity obligation‘ (GBO) under Queensland’s Biosecurity Act 2014. Not complying with the GBO is an offence.
- Exhibitors require a National Vendor Declaration (Cattle) and Waybill, or movement Record Document, and a National Health Declaration Form (Version 18/10/17)
- All stock entering the Brisbane Showgrounds must meet national Bovine Johnes requirements. All exhibitors must have a JBAS 6 or above to enter the Showgrounds. Exhibitors must advise their Johnes Disease status at the time of entry. To achieve a JBAS 6, property owners must have a property biosecurity plan which can be found on the LBN website or the Animal Health Australia website.
- The Brisbane Showgrounds is a CATTLE TICK FREE ZONE. Only Cattle tick free stock will be allowed entry to the ground. A biosecurity certificate, issued by an accredited certifier will be required to accompany dairy cattle movement across the cattle tick line from a cattle tick infested zone onto the showgrounds.
