How It Works

Purchase an Animal Walk card at any Information Booth or Guest Services location across the Ekka for $7.
Visit the five animal destinations around the Show, and collect an exclusive pin at each stop. Complete the trail and take home the full collection.
Guests can scan the QR code on their trail card to access this page and find all Animal Walk locations.

The Ekka Animal Walk presented by 7NEWS is a fun trail that takes you around Ekka to collect five exclusive animal pins. Complete the walk and build your full pin collection.

Where can I purchase and start the walk?

You can purchase your Animal Walk card and begin your adventure at any Information Booth or Guest Services location across Ekka.

How much does it cost?

$7 per Animal Walk card, including all five collectible animal pins.

What if I lose my trail card?

Unfortunately, lost trail cards cannot be refunded or replaced, so please keep your card safe throughout your visit.

What if I lose a pin?

Unfortunately, lost pins cannot be refunded or replaced. Please keep your collection safe while completing the trail.

What are the trail operating hours?

Animal Walk collection locations operate from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm daily.

What happens if I don't finish before 6 pm?

If you have not collected all your pins before the collection locations close, visit the Guest Services Desk in the Royal International Convention Centre (RICC) before 9:00 pm.

Present your Animal Walk card and Guest Services will provide any remaining pins required to complete your collection.

Can I collect pins after 6 pm?

Yes. Remaining pins can only be collected from Guest Services between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
