With many things to see and do, we have put together some of the best food, entertainment and things to explore while you are here at the Brisbane Showgrounds. There is also the chance to visit our Ekka Beef Week health hub during your stay.

Woolworths Steak Bar

Hungry? The Woolworths Steak Bar, located on Machinery Hill, is once again raising funds for Children’s Hospital Foundation. Not only will you get the best steak burger inside the Showgrounds, but you’re also helping to make a difference for sick kids.

Need a morning pick-me-up? Start your morning with a doughnut and a coffee from the Hot Doughnuts and Coffee outlet.

Dairy King Soft Serve

Need to cool off? Come get a soft serve ice cream to cool you down.

Somerville House is supporting the Led Steer competition, and their marquee on the Main Arena will have a special giveaway for you! Come along for a chat and grab yourself a giveaway.

Agforce Marquee

AgForce will be in the Main Arena during beef judging, with activities for kids, badge-making, career information, and more. Make sure you drop in and see them.

The AgForce School to Industry Partnership Program will host the 2026 Career Snapshots during Ekka Beef Week.

Where: Beef Cattle Ring – after judging is finished

When: Monday 3rd August, 5 pm

What: Agricultural professionals will present a day in their life, career pathways and opportunities in their field to students. Come and discover your agri-future!

Pedestrian Access to Main Arena

From Monday 3rd August to 6 pm Friday 7th August, there will be dedicated pedestrian corridors in place to give the general public and beef exhibitors guided access to the Main Arena and XXXX Stockmen’s Bar and Grill.

The pedestrian corridors will run from Gate 1 through to the Main Arena; Gate 2 along King Street to the Main Arena and Gate 3 through to the Main Arena.
