Artists from across Queensland will showcase their extraordinary talents in the Painting and Drawing Competition.
Judging will now be conducted over two rounds. In preparation for the first round of judging, exhibitors must upload a photo of their exhibit/s online. After the first round of judging, a selection of exhibits will be invited to be hung at the Ekka, and eligible for the final round of judging. All entries in Class 7 - Mouth & Foot Painters Only - will be hung and judged in the final round.
The competition is open to both professional and amateur artists. There is a class for every style, from Flora and Fauna, Traditional Watercolour and Indigenous Art to Drawing, Still Life and Mouth and Foot Painters.
The competition also now includes a Rural Subject and/or Landscape, and Artwork by People Aged 18 years or under classes.
