Thoroughbred and Standardbred Day Presented by Queensland Off-the-Track is one of the most glamorous events at the Ekka.

The Main Arena comes alive with racewear fashion, glitz and glamour for the race day style event. The competition showcases two versatile racing breeds as Horse Handlers presenting their animals to the judges in their Formal Race Attire.

Thoroughbred and Standardbred Day Presented by Queensland Off-the-Track is a race day style event where the two versatile racing breeds will compete for the sought-after Champion of their Breed Title that are up for grabs on the first day of Equestrian Competition at the Ekka.

This is one of the most glamorous days on Ekka’s schedule with the Horse Handlers presenting their animals to the judges in their Formal Race Attire. Meanwhile, at XXXX Stockmen's Bar & Grill, the Fashions on the Field Competition is being judged.

Please note, all horses entering the Brisbane Showgrounds MUST be Hendra vaccinated in accordance with the RNA’s Horse and Arena, and Veterinary, Biosecurity and Animal Welfare Committees regulations.
