Ekka Beef Week kicks off on Monday 3 August and remains the largest and most prestigious annual gathering of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.
Showcasing 28 impressive breeds and the best in Australian beef
genetics, Ekka Beef Week is a celebration of the remarkable achievements of our beef industry. It also provides a place for our cattle farmers to reconnect with friends.

As part of the Ekka's 150th anniversary, Queensland beef cattle exhibitors have the opportunity to become part of a permanent commemorative artwork celebrating the people, families and brands that have shaped our industry.
Your cattle brand will be incorporated into a landmark installation to be permanently displayed at the Brisbane Showgrounds and unveiled at the 2028 Ekka.

- Register your interest
- Bring your branding iron to Beef Week - Drop off at the Large Animal Pavilion Loading Dock
- Have your brand professionally recreated to be in the masterpiece

- Artwork Creation Dates: 3-4 August during Beef Week
- Cost: $250 per brand
- Unveiling: 2028 Ekka upon main arena completion
