We are ‘udderly’ excited to have you be part of our Volunteer Program!
The Ekka is Queensland's largest and most loved annual event, attracting on average 400,000 people.
Run by the RNA for 9 days in August and staged at its original birthplace, the Brisbane Showgrounds, the Ekka brings the country and city together for a true celebration of agriculture.
Volunteers play a vital role in the success of the show, which will celebrate its 146th show this year.
The Ekka Community Volunteers assist our Ekka teams in engaging our guests in a range of activities across the show each day. From greeting guests at the gate with a warm “G’day!” to helping kids learn how to handle chickens or assisting with behind the scenes entertainment activations.
Sign-ups to volunteer at Ekka 2025 will open closer to Show!
Volunteering at Ekka is an incredible opportunity to be part of Queensland’s largest event.
Connect with fellow volunteers and contribute to an unforgettable experience for visitors.
From greeting visitors at the gate to behind-the-scenes entertainment, your contribution matters. Let’s create Ekka memories together!
