Sheep Dog Trials

Competition Overview 

The close working relationship between the entrants in the Sheep Dog Trials and their trusted best friends will be put to the test.

This competition was first held at the Ekka in 1899, with the dogs judged on cast, approach, bridging, obstacle and general work.

You can watch on as some of the best dogs in QLD put through their paces on the Main Arena at Ekka.
