Sarah Ghim’s passion for Asian Fusion cuisine stems from her heritage. A fervour and excitement for food was encouraged by her father and inspiration taken from the variety of food served by her mother. Sarah has spent 18 years refining her craft and has held Apprentice Chef, Chef de Partie and Sous Chef roles with the Hyatt Hotel, Sania and Park Royal Restaurants and Zen Bar. Having been there from the beginning, Sarah has spent the last five years as Sous Chef at Luke Nguyen’s Fat Noodle Restaurant at Treasury Brisbane. Steering a new course under the watchful eye of Luke Nguyen, Sarah is delivering creative hawker-style dishes that are fresh and authentic. She is unapologetic about staying true to Asian cuisine by layering and balancing ingredients and is not shy in using a range of herbs and spices to bring out the vibrancy of flavours.
