The Royal Queensland Steakhouse & Bar presented by JBS Australia is a fine dining restaurant like no other.
The steakhouse serves the nation’s best steak, lamb, wine and cheese, all in one exclusive location.
Its unique menu is sourced directly from the prestigious Royal Queensland Food and Wine show (RQFWS) and the 2021 Ekka competition winners.
Top menu items include the 2021 RQFWS Grand Champion Branded Beef of Show Stockyard Black Wagyu Rib Fillet and the 2021 RQFWS Champion Branded Lamb of Show Union Station Lamb Rack, both served with fire-roasted red onions, cress salad and a hazelnut dressing.
During Ekka week, be sure to try premium steaks from JBS award-winning brands such as Riverina Angus, Thousand Guineas, Queenslander Beef and Yardstick, and Royal 100 steaks from this year’s Paddock to Palate winners!

Royal Queensland Steakhouse Head Chef Dean Brewer and JBS Australia have teamed up with four iconic Brisbane restaurants to showcase the best of the best of award-winning food.
Across four nights, Frank Correnti, Javier Codina, Alessandro Frisone and Simon Street will take guests on a culinary journey through five specially designed courses showcasing JBS Australia’s award-winning beef paired with RQFWS award-winning beverages.
Tickets are $170 per person which also includes entry to the Ekka.

Alessandro Frisone | Sunday 8 August - 6pm
Head Chef of Fat Cow Steak and Lobster Alessandro Frisone is a passionate chef who began his career in the north of Italy. He always stood out for his willingness to work hard and push boundaries. Frank Correnti | Monday 9 August - 6pm
Norman Hotel Executive Chef Frank Correnti is an avid advocate for the beef industry. The multi-award-winning chef has a true understanding of what’s involved in all aspects of producing and cooking the best beef in Australia. Javier Codina | Tuesday 10 August - 6pm
Moda owner and chef Javier Codina has worked in some of the finest dining rooms in Australia and overseas. He opened Moda in Brisbane in 1999 and was quick to be recognised by his growing clientele of patrons including celebrities, as well as with numerous awards. Simon Street | Thursday 12 August - 6pm
The Regatta Hotel’s Executive Chef Simon Street has a solid 17 years experience under his belt, initially training in Middle Eastern Cuisine. Simon is known for his beautiful presentation, innovative flavour combinations and great composition of dishes. He has a passion for Mediterranean cuisine and excitement for culinary innovation. On the night, Simon will be serving award-winning beef from the Russell Pastoral Company.
