Whipcracking Competition

The Packer Leather Australian Stockwhip Challenge

The Packer Leather Australian Stockwhip Challenge is returning for its fifth year at the Royal Queensland Show (Ekka). This competition provides an opportunity for young whip crackers from across Queensland to compete and show off their cracking routines to a crowd and judges. Schools from across the state may enter the competition, with past competitors including students from St. John’s Lutheran Primary School, St. Mary’s Catholic College and community group ‘South Burnett Crackers’.

Think you have what it takes to crack a whip with the best and youngest crackers in the region?

There are four divisions:

• Pee-Wee (8yrs & under)

• Juvenile (12yrs & under)

• Junior (16yrs & under)

• Packer Leather Open Division (all ages)

Contestants may only enter one division. There will also be a prize awarded for the ‘Accuracy Category’, which is open to all competitors (excluding those from the Pee-Wee division).
