Calling for Community Stage Performers
Apply now for your chance to perform at Queensland's largest and most loved annual event - the Royal Queensland Show (Ekka).
The Community Stage will be taken over by Community & Dance groups during the ten days of show in August, with the 2018 line-up including genres from Bollywood to cheerleading.
In 2019, the 10 day Ekka runs over two full weekends from Friday 9 to Sunday 18 August.
FAQs
- How to apply: Once applications are open, please complete and submit an online form for the application to be valid.
- Application period : Applications will be open from Wednesday 30 January 2019 and close on Friday 5 April 2019.
- When will I receive more information: Applications will be reviewed and performers will be notified of outcomes AFTER the closing date, Friday 5 April 2019. We thank you for your patience during this time as it can take a number of weeks to review applications.
