Get the students involved in creating some frightfully fun scarecrows, with entries into the 2017 Royal Queensland Show’s (Ekka) Scarecrow Competition.
Teachers can coordinate teams of students to work together to design and construct a scarecrow for display within The Old Museum Precinct.
This new and exciting competition, which has been designed especially with Queensland students in mind, is a great opportunity for them to learn and apply their creative skills in a fun and competitive environment.
Schools can enter a maximum of two teams, one Primary and one Secondary.
Key competition dates:
Entries Open: Monday 16 January 2017
Entries Close: Friday 14 July 2017
Delivery of Exhibits: Wednesday 8 August 2017
Awards Presentation: Friday 11 August 2017
