National Anthem Competition
The Royal National Agricultural and Industrial Association of Queensland (“RNA”). The RNA owns, manages, and operates the event called the Royal Queensland Show (the “Ekka”)

Entrants under the age of 18 years must have a parent’s or guardian’s consent to enter.
Up to 4 people per entry permitted (solo, duo, trio, or quartet) – entrants are only eligible to win one prize each in the Promotion.
To enter, entrants must, during the Promotional Period, visit the Website and register their details via the online form. Entrants must submit a link to a YouTube video of them performing the Australian National Anthem (two verses, updated lyrics) during the Video Solicit Period, and subscribe to the Ekka YouTube Channel. A backing track of the Australian National Anthem is available to download via the Website. (Only 1 entry submission is required for the individual or group – duos, trios, or quartets do not need to submit multiple entries).
This is a game of skill and seven winners will be selected by 4KQ’s Laurel, Gary, and Mark.
§ Singing in the Main Arena at the 2021 Royal Queensland Show, Saturday 7 August 2021 until Sunday 15 August 2021.
§ Each winner will receive a Double Pass for entry into the Ekka for the day of their performance.
§ Main Arena seating will be reserved for entrants for the duration of the EkkaNITES show on the day of their performance. *Accessibility options on request
§ Winners must be available to perform across one of the nine nights of Show, Saturday 7 August 2021 until Sunday 15 August 2021.
§ Winners are restricted to one prize per entrant, per household.
§ Passes are only valid for use on the day of the performance.
§ No prize substitutions.
Winners will be notified by telephone and/or email on Wednesday 21 July 2021.
Winner(s) may be published on the website www.ekka.com.au
PRIZE CLAIM DETAILS
Prizes must be claimed at the time of the notification or as otherwise specified by the Promoter.
If a Prize is unclaimed, the Promoter serves the right to re-award the Prize as chosen by the Entertainment Department of the Ekka.
ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
§ Royal Queensland Show and participating sponsors are not responsible for mutilated, mis-uploaded or late contest entries.
§ Winners are responsible for applicable travel and accommodation, if required.
§ Ekka Management reserves the right to limit or cancel any performances without notice. Depending on the availability of entrants, replacements for any cancellations may be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Late entries may not be accepted by Ekka Management.
§ Due to space restrictions, no instruments are permitted on stage during the performance.
§ The winning performers must be in neat, semi-formal attire. No singlets, shorts or thongs are to be worn on stage. No logos, slogans, or statements featured.
§ The winning performers must be present for the Safety Brief which will be located back of house of the Main Arena. Performers must present themselves to the Stage Manager thirty minutes prior to the safety briefing time.
§ Although every effort will be made to adhere to the program, changes may be made at the discretion of the Royal Queensland Show Management.
§ Management will not be responsible for any loss or injury to persons or property throughout Ekka. Each performer shall not encourage any person/s up on stage. Each performer must behave professionally at all times. There is to be no swearing and artists must not perform songs that contain inappropriate themes or language or they may face disqualification.
§ Ekka has permission to take photographs of performers and has full copyright. Ekka reserves the right to use any images taken of performers on social media, websites, advertisements and any other format for marketing and publicity opportunities.
§ Ekka will have full control of all advertising either by radio/newspaper/flyers etc. Any performer wishing to advertise on their social media pages or websites may do so however you may not use the Ekka logo without prior approval.
§ There is no parking on the grounds; however, there is ample public transport to and from the grounds and alternative parking is available within walking distance of the grounds.
