Dairy Goats

One of the largest annual gatherings of Dairy Goats in Queensland occurs at the Royal Queensland Show. Anglo-Nubian, Australian Melaan or Australian Brown, British Alpine, Saanen and Toggenburg Dairy Goats are judged on their physical attributes and their ability to produce quality dairy products.

Each breed has its own special characteristics and personality traits. They are also suited to different climates and environments, with different breeds suited to various parts of Australia's diverse landscape.

Please note: an Expression of Interest (EOI) must be submitted prior to entering the competition to assist with RNA planning.
