Australian beef producers will once again have the chance to ‘steak’ their claim on almost $60,000 in prize money with entries now open to the 2019 Paddock to Palate Competition presented by Mort & Co and 2019/2020 Paddock to Palate Wagyu Challenge.

Now in its 22nd year, the RNA’s Paddock to Palate Competition is the nation’s richest beef competition of its kind, tipping the scales at $46,000. Australian Wagyu producers will also cash in with the RNA Wagyu Challenge offering $10,000.

New to the competition in 2019 is a new HGP (Hormone Growth Promotant) free export class, following recent industry trends. Entry weights into Classes 37 & 38 have also increased, from 420kg to 460kg for Class 37 and 380kg to 400kg for Class 38.
