It wouldn't be a trip to the Ekka without visiting the animals! Every year, more than 10,000 animals are judged, paraded and displayed at the Ekka for visitors to see.
From the clever canines in the dog competition and the monster bulls, to the cute and cuddly RACQ Animal Nursery babies and Legendairy Milking Barn, there are plenty of different animals to visit!

See prized and oversized produce, marvel at the creative arts and delicious cookery, listen to bush ballads and go into nature at the Ekka!
The displays are a showcase of Queensland talent, with more than 14 different displays ranging from bee-utiful Apiculture, ginormous gourds, gardens, creative arts and mouthwatering cookery.
Don't forget to make thyme to see them all - especially the Old Musem, home to the Flower and Garden precinct.
