RNA Membership


You can become an RNA member for an annual fee of between $130 (Country Adult) and $145 (City Adult). Among other benefits, members receive one member pass and one transferable guest pass, enabling free 9 day admission to Ekka for you and a guest (bring a different friend each day).

Badge Changes - 2021

The financial impacts of COVID-19 on the Royal Queensland Show have been significant, and as such, the Council have made a number of changes aimed at making the Show more efficient, without reducing members’ benefits.

Members’ badges will continue to be issued annually, however the Members’ guest badge will be replaced by the barcoded pass. Members will continue to receive their barcoded pass along with their badge. Member badges and passes are currently being processed.

The barcoded passes continue to give members and guests entry to the Showgrounds and Members’ Stand across any of the nine days of show from August 7-15.



Members do not have to select a day to attend and can attend every day of Show as normal.


Life Members

Life members (other than Gold Life members) will now be issued with a specially designed perpetual badge, replacing the annual badge. This will commence this year.


Little Ekka Passes (children under 4), Companion/Carer Cards & Contact Tracing

As a Member, your details are already registered in our system and therefore, you do not need to do anything special to enter show, simply present your barcoded pass for scanning on entry.

If you are bringing a child under 4 or require a companion (with the requisite concession card), their entry is free, however for contact tracing purposes, we need to obtain their:

  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • Guardian's email
  • Guardian's phone number

You can email these details to to obtain a Little Ekka Pass.


Guest Contact Tracing

As your guest pass is transferrable, you will find a QR code for the Check In Qld app on their pass or at the gate for your guest/s to complete on entry to the Show. Should your guest not have a phone, assistance will be provided for them to check in at the gate on entering the Show.
