Wines have been judged at the RNA at every show since the first in 1876. The RNA will host the Royal Queensland Wine Show from Sunday 6 July to Saturday 12 July 2008 at the RNA Showgrounds in Brisbane.
The Royal Queensland Wine Show is the first of the annual national wine shows held in capital cities around Australia. It is significant for the wine industry as it provides the first taste of the new season's vintage.
The Royal Queensland Wine Show offers Australian wine makers the excellent opportunity to compete for prestigious awards for recognition as being among Australia's best wine producers.
Entries for the 2008 Royal Queensland Wine Show have now closed.
Wine judges from across Australia will take part in the judging process with the winners being announced at the Royal Queensland Wine Show Awards Dinner to be held on Thursday 10 July in The Coffee Club Auditorium at the RNA Showgrounds.
