The Courier Mail Education on Show

The Courier-Mail Education on Show
Top of the class
The Courier-Mail Education on Show is a competition
devoted to showcasing work by Queensland students. Education
on Show covers a wide range of contemporary curriculum related
skills and activities. The competition has been designed to
encourage students to strive to do their best as the school's
selected best works will be judged an on display at Ekka. The
competition has also been designed to encourage teachers to use as
a resource tool for assessment and fit seamlessly into the
classroom teachings.
Step back in time
As we look towards the future, it is becoming increasingly
important that we do not forget our past- where we came from, our
traditions and our heritage. The Courier-Mail Education on
Show competition focusses heavily on history, both ancient and
modern.
Through studying history at school, students develop a knowledge
and understanding of the past which will assist in understanding
the present and contributing to debate about planning for the
future.
