Queensland's largest classroom

There's nothing quite like a hands-on experience to crystallise
learning experiences into lifelong memories. Ekka provides
incredible opportunities for children to explore the world.
As Queensland's largest classroom, Ekka is rich with interactive
exhibits and activities for students. Education has always been a
priority throughout Ekka's history, and we are proud to continue
that tradition.
Ekka School Excursions - Every day is an Ekka school day
Book your Ekka School Excursion
NOW!
School groups are invited to attend Ekka as an excursion. Many
resources for teachers are available to help you plan your day at
Ekka.
This year, for the first time at Ekka, we have declared every
week day of Ekka to be a school day. You can book a school
excursion to Ekka for any day of the week (except for weekends) and
receive discounted entry for your students and yourself. For
every ten students in the group, one teacher receives free entry.
Book your tickets online from May.
Also for the first time this year, every school student on a
school excursion to Ekka will receive a free ticket to come back
again as long as they are accompanied by a paying adult. This also
applies to children attending Rural Discovery Day in May.
