The state's largest and most loved community event, the Royal
Queensland Show (Ekka), has attracted more than 1.2 million
visitors through the gates over the past three years.
Attending the Ekka is a family tradition for many, with
childhood memories passed down through the generations. The average
visitor spends more than eight hours at the show visiting the
10,000 animals, searching through showbags and enjoying
old-fashioned food favourites and new treats. As Queensland's most
